The OEM GT wing is generally too heavy for the bootlid dampers. This makes the bootlid slam too hard when you close it, and the wing vibrates, cracking the paint. Add a few years of use, some rain and road salt during winter – and you get rust.. The rust will be dealt with, all the holes welded up, and the wing replaced by something a little more subtle.
