This is my 1971 Datsun 240Z. It’s an old California car, which has been restored after being imported. It’s very close to original, except for the obvious headlight protectors, front spook and rear spoiler. It needs a bit of work, but is in an overall good condition.
Short term plans:
- Rust repairs and repaint engine bay and front chassis
- Fully powder coated suspension
- All polyutherane suspension bushes
- Shock and spring upgrade
- Wheel and tire upgrade
- Front big brake upgrade and rear disc brake conversion
- Fully built engine – L24 high comp stroker with 44mm Mikuni sidedraft carbs
- Rewire / wire tuck engine bay
- General modernization
Long term plans:
- Complete repaint inside and outside
- Complete interior restoration and modernization
- 5 speed gearbox and diff upgrade
